About Me
I genuinely enjoy working with children, and have extensive experience that I have built over the past 5years. I am a friendly, reliable babysitter looking to provide babysitting/ child care/ mother's help over this Summer - I am at University but have now finished for the Summer so looking for some jobs:) I will also be looking for some more permenant childcare work from September once i am back at Uni! I have plenty of hands-on experience ranging from caring for young babies and toddlers all the way through to older children, pre-teens and teens and I have built strong long-term relationships with parents and families through trust and consistency. I am comfident, attentive, dependable and very flexible. I have a kind and approachable manner and understand the importance of trust and communication when it comes to creating a safe, respected environment where children can feel at ease/comfortable and parents feel reassured. I am comfortable managing daily routines, and adapting to each child's needs personally.
My Experience
I have experience caring for all different aged babies and children over the past 5 years. I have also worked in a nursery setting. Over the years, I have supported families with a wide range of responsibilities including feeding, changing nappies, preparing meals, bedtime routines, school/nursery drop-off and pick-ups, homework help, and organising fun, age-appropriate activities.
I am confident caring for multiple children at once and adapting to different family routines and children’s individual needs. Through my experience, I have developed strong patience, communication skills, and problem-solving skills, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and caring environment where children feel comfortable and supported. Families know me as reliable, calm, trustworthy and super flexible - happy to work around any of your needs.
I have also gained extra experience from this Summer '26 nannying/mother's-help for 3 different families where I have been looking after ages 1-6y/o. Please do get in touch!
My Qualifications
Full UK driving licence, experience working in a nursery setting - was DBS checked but not renewed recently.
My Availability
I am available over the Summer '26 in the Surrey/Hampshire area and then from start of term in September around Exeter for any help you might need!
