About Me
I’m currently studying Furniture Restoration at Glasgow Clyde College, with classes from 9am–4pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9am–12pm on Fridays, starting on 26 August 2026. Until then, I’m available throughout the day and in the evenings.
I’m passionate about furniture restoration and enjoy developing my woodworking skills and learning more about traditional craftsmanship. I also volunteer at Govan Baths, where I help run workshops and support the development of a community garden.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially walking and cycling, and I regularly swim at my local pool. I’m easy-going, reliable, and always happy to lend a hand wherever needed. I live in West end of Glasgow but really happy to cycle around and get to where I am needed.
My Experience
Since moving to Glasgow in April 2025, I’ve supported several families with childcare, including school and nursery pick-ups and drop-offs, meal preparation, feeding, bath and bedtime routines, nappy changing, and helping to keep the home tidy when needed.
I’ve also helped organise birthday celebrations and day trips around Glasgow. I genuinely love spending time with children and creating a fun, caring, and supportive environment for them. Most of my experience has been with children aged 3–8, though I’ve recently started caring for a 1-year-old as well, which I’ve really enjoyed. I feel confident and comfortable working with children of all ages.
My Qualifications
DBS check, Full driver licience, BA degree in Sculpture, NQ in Furniture, First Aid training which is about to be refreshed in a June.
