About Me

I am a mum of two young children, one of school age and one toddler. After
having my second child, and with my eldest starting school, I decided to start my
own childminding venture to ease the ever growing pressure of childcare. Hence,
creating Tiny Toadstools Childminding, a homely term time setting, with minimal
additional costs. I have always had a passion for working with children, and take great pleasure in watching them grow and learn. And more importantly, I love having fun! Children
learn through play, which is fed throughout my curriculum, as they can self access activities and resources. These will be rotated in a designated childminding space within my home.

My Experience

I have gained over 10 years experience within the sector, from working as a nursery assistant to working within the nursery management team. I am also paediatric first aid trained, certificates can be accessed on request.

My Qualifications

Throughout my time working in a nursery, I studied to obtain my Level 3 in Early Years. I then went onto to study for my degree in Early Years, which I completed in 2020.
