About Me

Hey,
My name is Melissa, I run a Faith-based childminding setting on Knebworth High-street. I co-childmind alongside another qualified childminder we currently have some availability ?
I am a wife & mother of 3, I got into childminding because I understand the difficulties in balancing both childcare & work and wanting to leave your babies in the best hands !

My Experience

Most of my childcare experience comes from raising my own three children, aged 14, 6 and 4. Alongside parenting, I have worked for Mind Mental Health facilitating support groups and have experience working with young people,specifically CSE & county lines.

I have also completed childcare training and have experience running a parent group within the community. In addition, my co-childminder and I hosted a pop-up childcare week where we planned and delivered a range of fun, engaging activities for children, creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment for learning and play.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childminding, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, and an Advanced Diploma in Theology and Religious Studies. Access to higher education in midwifery & nursing Alongside this, I am trained in Safeguarding Children, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene.
