My Experience

I have experience working with children through my previous role as a youth volunteer and team leader, where I helped run fortnightly sessions for groups of 7–8-year-olds. This involved organising creative activities, supervising group games, and creating a positive and inclusive environment for all children. I also gained experience adapting my communication style to support children with different needs, including helping a child with ASD feel comfortable and included within the group.

In addition to this, my experience working in hospitality and customer service has strengthened my patience, reliability, and ability to stay calm and organised in busy situations. As a medical student, I am responsible, caring, and confident handling situations maturely and professionally.

Happy to help with homework, bedtime routines, meal prep, and keeping children entertained in a safe and caring environment.

My Qualifications

* Fourth-year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School
* A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths (3 A*s)
* Experience volunteering with children aged 7–8 as a youth leader
* Experience supporting children with different communication and learning needs, including ASD.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills developed through hospitality and customer service roles.
* A recent DBS check from 2026.

My Availability

I am currently available for occasional evening and weekend babysitting around my university timetable.

From July onwards, once my exams are finished, I will be looking for more regular and flexible hours throughout the week alongside my waitressing job. I am happy to discuss daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
