About Me
I have a kind, caring and empathetic nature and enjoy building bonds with children and helping them to develop and grow. I am conscientious, organised and reliable and always strive to do my best for the babies/children I look after and their parents.
I live in Brighton with my husband and 2 grown up children. I love being outdoors in nature, gardening, cooking, and swimming. I am also creative and have a small Etsy business, making baby clothes in my spare time.
I enjoy being outdoors with the children I care for and have experience of teaching forest school. I also love arts and crafts, reading, singing and dancing.
My Experience
I have spent many happy years being a full-time Mum to my own 2 children who are now grown up. I have over 10 years experience of working in Early Years in a pre-school and school setting, as well as looking after babies and toddlers. I am currently working in a Reception class but have decided to leave at the end of term and to become a nanny.
I have worked 1:1 with children with ASD and have been responsible for carrying out speech and language and phonic interventions for the past 3 years, as well as working one day a week in a forest school environment.
Understanding the needs of the child and working in collaboration with parents is my key strength.
