About Me

I grew up in Spain in a close-knit family where strong family values, love, and support were always at the centre of daily life. My relationship with my mum, grandparents, and auntie has played a huge role in shaping the caring, patient, and nurturing person I am today. From a young age, I naturally enjoyed helping and caring for others, which is what inspired me to pursue a career working with children.
I currently work full time in a nursery and genuinely love supporting children’s development, wellbeing, and confidence as they grow. Alongside my nursery role, I am also studying forensic psychology online, which has given me a deeper understanding of children’s behaviour, emotional needs, and the importance of creating safe and supportive environments.
I am passionate about helping children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to thrive. In the future, I hope to continue building my career in child-focused roles such as childminding or social work, where I can continue making a positive difference in children’s lives.
Some of my favourite moments working with children are the small but meaningful ones — helping a child settle into a new routine, comforting them when they feel overwhelmed, sharing laughter during play, or seeing their confidence grow day by day. Watching a child achieve something they once found difficult is incredibly rewarding and reminds me why I love working with children so much

My Experience

I currently work full time in a nursery where I care for children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Through this role, I have gained valuable hands-on experience supporting children with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, learning, and development.
I am currently working towards my Level 2 qualification in Childcare and continue to build my knowledge and practical skills every day. Within the nursery, I am responsible for key children, which involves building strong relationships with both the children and their families, monitoring development, and supporting their individual needs and milestones.
My experience includes:
Supporting children with potty and toilet training
Helping children settle into nursery routines and transitions
Planning and participating in engaging educational and play activities
Encouraging communication, social skills, and independence
Providing emotional support and reassurance when children feel upset or overwhelmed
Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environment
Working closely with parents and colleagues to support each child’s development
Observing and recording children’s progress and achievements
Promoting positive behaviour through patience, encouragement, and consistency
In addition to my professional experience, I have also been a primary caregiver for my younger brother since he was born, and he is now five years old. From an early age, I naturally took on responsibilities similar to a parental role, including preparing meals, supporting bedtime and daily routines, organising play and learning activities, and ensuring his emotional wellbeing and safety. This experience has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to care for children in a calm, loving, and attentive way.
I also hold an enhanced DBS check and understand the importance of safeguarding, child safety, and creating an environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. My experience in both nursery settings and family caregiving has strengthened my ability to remain calm, patient, attentive, and adaptable while caring for children of different ages and personalities.
