Hi! I’m Megan, I’m 20 years old, and I have always wanted to work with and look after children! It’s honestly my favourite thing to do. I’m quite a home loving person, so I’m very happy staying in, doing crafts, playing games, reading, or helping with whatever you need. I’m calm, reliable, and always make sure the children I look after feel safe, happy, and listened to.
At home, I have a beautiful rabbit called Mylo, he’s very friendly and I love looking after him, so I’m great with pets too! I’d love the chance to help families with their little ones! :)
My Experience
My experience looking after children comes from helping care for my younger brother growing up. He has autism and selective mutism, so I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to support him, play with him, and make sure he feels happy and comfortable. This has made me very patient, kind, and good at noticing when a child needs extra reassurance or a quiet moment.
I’ve learned that every child is different, and I love finding what makes them smile or feel safe. I’m used to being calm, consistent, and gentle, and I know how to create a lovely routine and fun activities that work for them. Even though I haven’t done this as a job before, I have plenty of real life experience, and I’m very responsible and ready to care for your little ones with the same love and attention. ??
My Qualifications
The only qualifications I really have is my basic GCSEs.
My Availability
I have all the availability in the world! Whenever I’m needed I can be there! Apart from overnights due to me having some commitments of my own at home! :)
