About Me

Hi I’m Verity. I am 26 yr old and live in West London . I’m currently studying to get my MA in Play Therapy. I am continually building my knowledge about the best ways to care for children. I’m looking for potential work from September 2026. I am very open to discussing what working with your family could look like.

I find building rapport with children very rewarding. Every child is unique and needs support according to who they are. I love finding new ways to build child up and learn about things themselves. I enjoy gaining there trust and really treasure when a child chooses to let me into their world. Within my practice safety, trust and respect are three of the most important things. My Experience

Before undertaking my masters I working in a primary school, during my first year there (2023-2024) I was a Teaching Assistant in a year 5 class helping support their learning and regulate their emotions. During my second year (2024-2025) I was a one-to-one for a child with ASD. Before working in the school, I working for a charity (UCCF) to support university students who were part the CU society in understanding and exploring ideas their around faith and belief. All roles involved team work, organisation, independent project management, communication and care.

I am able to with help domestic requirements and plan days out for children.

My Qualifications

I have an Undergraduate in Psychology and Counselling. I have two A-levels and a B-tech grades B-D and I eight GCSE’s grades B-C. I am currently working on getting my masters in Play Therapy.

My Availability

Over the summer I am available weekdays and Saturdays. From the end of September I am available for babysitting in the afternoons and evenings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Presently I am available for the whole day on Saturdays.
