About Me
I am a fun, responsible and caring person, and am passionate about working with children.
I am very happy to help out with childcare any time of day, and am offering light housework as well during nap times or school times.
I have a lot of experience in setting up fun activities and have my own car, willing to do school runs and day trips if that is something you would like.
I am a big fan of using Makaton with the little ones and am currently learning BSL.
Ideally, I am looking for a part time nanny role and am also available for ad hoc babysitting.
My Experience
I have roughly 6 years experience working with children from newborn to 11 years.
I have worked in after school clubs with key stage 1 age children and I was a teaching assistant working 1:1 with a year 6 SEN child for a while.
Most of my experience comes from my multiple years working as a nursery assistant, where I worked with children newborn up to pre-school. Through these roles, I have become comfortable engaging and playing, as well as tutoring.
I also have experience with food hygiene, weaning and food allergies, intolerances and preferences.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked, have done safeguarding training and paediatric first aid training, soon to renew both certificates.
I also hold a full drivers licence and have my own vehicle.
I do not hold a childcare qualification, however have plenty of experience with childcare and am familiar with the EYFS framework.
My Availability
I am available on Tuesday mornings until 1pm, and all day Wednesday and Thursdays including evenings.
I am also available on weekends for ad hoc babysitting, dogsitting and walking, and tutoring.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
