I am a qualified Primary School Teacher (trained in Canada) currently working as a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA) in London schools. I am also an experienced youth swimming and sports coach. Since schools are closed for the May Half-Term, I am offering active, reliable, and high-quality daytime childcare for local West London families. Because of my professional school background, my services focus on keeping your children happy, safe, and fully engaged. I am highly confident planning structured daytime activities, arts and crafts, outdoor sports, and fun games. I am energetic, deeply responsible, and love supporting children's development. I am fully First Aid trained, hold a full driving licence, and commute quickly using my own transport.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working with children across different educational and recreational settings. I completed my formal primary school teacher qualification in Canada in 2011. Currently, I work daily within London schools as a Teaching Assistant to gain thorough, up-to-date experience in the UK educational system. This includes regular agency placements in Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, giving me excellent experience in supporting children with diverse learning and behavioral needs. In addition to my classroom experience, I am an active youth swimming coach. This role has sharpened my safety awareness, group management skills, and ability to lead high-energy sports coaching sessions. My Enhanced DBS is fully active and registered on the online Update Service for immediate verification.

- ASA Level 2 Swimming Instructor (Fully Qualified)

- BASI Alpine Skiing Instructor Level 1

My Availability
Because next week is the school half-term holiday, I have excellent, flexible daytime availability to help working parents with childcare cover. My exact hours for next week are:
Monday: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Wednesday: Available from 3:30 PM onwards (Free all evening)
Thursday: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Please note that I have permanent coaching commitments in the late afternoons/evenings on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as Tuesday nights, but I am fully available for morning and early afternoon blocks!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My standard rate for daytime holiday care and active babysitting is £15 to £20 per hour, depending on the number of children and travel distance. I am happy to discuss specific family requirements and offer fair rates for local West London bookings.
