About Me
We are looking for childcare for our daughter, who is currently 2½ months old and will be approaching one year old when care is needed from the end of February 2027 term time only. We would like someone who is able to be flexible on timings to accommodate me getting to work and to work around my partners shifts.
I am a qualified teacher currently teaching SEND pupils with severe and complex needs, with previous mainstream experience and a particular focus on EYFS.
My partner works for British Airways- ground operations, working a combination of early, day and late shifts.
My Requirements
We are looking for a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where our daughter will feel safe, cared for, and valued. Safeguarding is extremely important to us, alongside a setting that supports learning and development through the EYFS in a caring and engaging way.
A strong focus on play, exploration, and meaningful experiences is really important to us, particularly opportunities for outdoor play, sensory experiences, creativity, and child-led learning that encourages curiosity and confidence.
Flexibility would also be really important to us due to my partner’s shift pattern, and we would love to find a setting that is able to work collaboratively with us around this where possible.
We would love to find a setting that provides a balance of strong pastoral care, enriching experiences, and a genuine partnership with parents while we are at work.
