About Me
Hi! I'm Maryan, I'm a trained neonatal intensive care nurse. My priority is in creating a safe calming environment, providing gentle care to support newborns and their families. The first few weeks/months can be incredibly daunting, I'm here to make it smooth and comfortable so you can enjoy your time with your newborn.
I am critically trained in looking after babies from as little as 22 weeks to their first few months post-term. I have a passion in taking care of babies and helping mummies (and daddies!) adapt to life after the arrival of their angels.
I am warm, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced in home training, feeding, medications if needed, sleep training, resuscitation licence, breastfeeding support, development care and ensuring babies get the best start possible.
I'd love to bring that experience and joy to your lovely families.
My Experience
- Over 6 years experience as a neonatal intensive care nurse
- Trained in resuscitation, sleep training, breastfeeding, home training
- Experience in supporting mothers and the family unit in adjusting to newborn life
- Many years experience raising my own little siblings (now 9,10+11!)
My Qualifications
- Bsc(Hons) Degree in Nursing
- Postgraduate Certificate in Neonatal Critical Care
- Neonatal Resuscitation Licence
- Breastfeeding/feeding/home+sleep training
