My Experience

I am an experienced childcare professional with a strong background in both early years education and healthcare. Since 2017, I have worked within the NHS as a midwife, supporting mothers, newborn babies and families during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. This role has given me excellent knowledge of newborn care, child development, safeguarding and family support.

Alongside my NHS experience, I have over eight years of experience working in nurseries with children aged 0–4 years old. During this time, I supported children through all stages of early development, planning activities, encouraging learning through play and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

I also have experience working within a primary school setting with children aged 4–6, supporting their learning, emotional development and daily routines.

My experience includes caring for babies, toddlers and young children with different personalities and needs, and I always aim to provide warm, attentive and professional care. I hold all relevant childcare qualifications, including paediatric first aid training, and I am confident supporting children’s wellbeing, routines and development at every stage of early childhood.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Midwifery and a degree in Education, alongside an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare recognised in the UK. I am also trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding, with strong knowledge of child development, newborn care and early years education.

My professional background combines healthcare and childcare experience, allowing me to confidently support children from birth onwards. Through my work within the NHS as a midwife and my experience in nurseries and schools, I have developed excellent practical and communication skills when working with children and families.

I continue to maintain high professional standards and always aim to provide safe, nurturing and development-focused care.

My Fees

• Maternity Nursing from £20.00 per hour (gross)

My standard nanny rate starts from £20 per hour, depending on the role, hours and responsibilities involved. With over 10 years of professional childcare experience, including NHS midwifery, newborn care and early years education, I offer a high standard of attentive, reliable and nurturing care.

I am also available for maternity support, newborn care and occasional babysitting, with fees discussed depending on the family’s individual needs.
