About Me
Hello! I’m the mother of our little baby boy, Léon who is 10 month old. I am originally from Toulouse, France, and my husband, Andrew, is from the Isle of Man. We are a warm, friendly and bilingual family based in Manchester.
Léon is a happy, curious little baby boy, and we would love for him to grow up speaking both French and English. While French-speaking childcare isn’t essential, it would be a lovely bonus if you speak French and could help introduce the language naturally through play and everyday conversation.
We’re looking to build a relationship with someone reliable, kind and trustworthy who could become a familiar part of our family’s support network as we grow.
My Requirements
Immediate requirement (August 2026)
We’re currently looking for a babysitter to care for Léon on Friday 21st of August from 5pm to 1am and on Sunday 23rd of August from 5pm to 11pm with the possibility of regular future babysitting. This may include daytime, evenings or occasional weekends, depending on availability.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced with babies and toddlers.
* Warm, caring and reliable.
* Happy to play, feed, change and settle Léon as needed.
* Ideally available for ongoing babysitting in the future.
* Baby first aid training
* Ofsted registered
From April 2027 onwards
We’re expecting our second baby in March 2027 and, as we don’t have family nearby, we’re hoping to find someone who may also be able to provide regular family support after the baby arrives.
This could include:
* Caring for Léon while we settle the newborn.
* Helping with both children as they grow.
* Occasional babysitting or daytime support.
* Potentially becoming a regular part of our family’s childcare over the longer term.
We’re flexible and would love to hear from people who are interested in building a long-term relationship with our family, rather than only one-off babysitting.
