About Me
We are a friendly family living just outside Pannal. We enjoy spending time together outdoors, making the most of the countryside and local area whenever we can. Our children are active, curious and creative, and enjoy a mix of sports, swimming, reading, learning new things and craft activities.
As a family, we value kindness, reliability and a positive, calm approach. We try to keep home life warm, organised and fun, with plenty of time for both play and quieter activities. We are looking forward to finding someone who will get to know our family well and become a trusted, friendly presence in our children’s lives.
My Requirements
We run our own business, so life can be quite busy, and we are looking for someone reliable, practical and kind to support us regularly.
We are looking for one regular weekday per week, ideally around 9am–5pm, combining household help during the school day with childcare after school. Household tasks may include laundry, ironing, baking, preparing a family evening meal, and adhoc tasks and errands during the day. Later in the afternoon, we would need help with collecting the children from Brackenthwaite Primary School and looking after them at home until around 5pm.
We are also looking for one set long weekend day per month, for example around 10am–10pm, so that we can have a regular date day/evening. This would involve caring for the children at home, preparing their food, keeping them entertained and helping with the usual evening routine.
Driving would be required for school pick-up and occasional errands. Reliability, warmth and confidence with children are very important to us.
