About Me
Beatrix will be 18 months old in September, and is a happy, playful toddler. She always finds people to cuddle at all the groups we go to, and she's first on the dance floor!
There are four of us in our little family, my partner Pat and I and our old spaniel Loki. I am a civil servant and Pat is a business consultant.
We are excited to move to Wotton Under Edge this summer from Bristol, and are looking forward to growing our large garden, and building Beatrix her own adventure park. Sadly we'll be leaving our current nanny behind as the commute is too long. Charlotte quickly became a valued member of our family, and we really appreciate how much easier she has made our lives. Regarding references, we're keen that they work both ways and would be happy for a prospective nanny to speak to Charlotte directly about her experience working for us.
My Requirements
We're looking for someone Ofsted registered from September to work 8-5 Monday - Thursday, with occasional agreed overtime. We'd like someone self starting, and able to find fun activities outside of the house where Bea can socialise with other children and experience new things like swimming, crafts, dance or music for example. We're keen on a Montessori style education, where Bea has the opportunity to learn and try things out for herself.
Normal childcare activities would be included:
Preparing and feeding Bea her breakfast and lunch and any snacks.
Teaching Bea to prepare her own drinks and snacks
Dressing Bea and teaching her to dress herself
Laundering her clothes
Taking care of her personal hygiene. We're hoping to potty train this summer but no promises!
Keeping her safe and any basic first aid
Playing and reading to her
