Hi, I’m a caring and reliable childcare practitioner with experience working with children of different ages in a nursery setting. My Experience
I am Level 3 qualified in childcare and have been working in nurseries since I was around 14/15 years old, giving me several years of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. I currently work as a key worker, so I understand the importance of building strong, trusting bonds with children and supporting their individual needs and development.
I am mainly based in the baby room and have lots of experience caring for children under 1, including feeding, changing, naps, sensory play, and following routines. I also have experience working with preschool and older children through nursery work and babysitting family members, including my younger brother who is now 4 and younger baby cousins.
I love working with children and enjoy planning fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that help support learning, creativity, and confidence while making sure children feel safe, happy, and cared for.
My Qualifications
I have all of my GCSEs as well as my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare. I have completed a variety of nursery placements throughout my training and now work full time in a nursery setting, giving me valuable hands-on experience with children of different ages and needs.
I am fully DBS checked and have completed safeguarding training, paediatric first aid training, and baby care training. My experience and qualifications have helped me develop strong knowledge of child development, safety, routines, and creating a caring and supportive environment for children.
My Availability
I currently work full time in a nursery, so I am mainly available in the evenings after work from around 6pm until approximately 10pm. I am also available for overnight babysitting on some nights with enough notice.
On weekends and bank holidays, I am usually available all day providing I do not already have personal plans. I always try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible and am happy to discuss availability directly with families.
