About Me
I’m an adoptive parent, my son is 7 and first came to us in June 2025. He’s a wonderful boy who is again experiencing change and loss in his new family, as am I. I’ll explain more about our circumstances and need for childcare.
My Requirements
I work as a headteacher in Greater Manchester. My son goes to school in Haslingden and we live in Rawtenstall. I need someone who can care for him from after school pick-up until 6.30pm with flexibility on occasion to accommodate any unexpected issues relating to my role at school. Though I do have some people in my circle who can also help. I’m hoping for someone to be in place who understands how to respond with calm kindness to a delightful child who has experienced significant past trauma and is also going through bereavement. You’ll get so much back from him. And we need your love and care to enable our family to continue to function for him after the loss of my husband, his other Dad.
