About Me

Hello, my name is Jessica! Caring, patient, and supportive babysitting service specialising in children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and autism. I provide a safe, calm, and understanding environment where children can feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their individual needs and routines.

I understand the importance of consistency, communication, sensory awareness, and emotional regulation, and I aim to build trusting relationships with both children and parents. Whether your child enjoys quiet activities, structured routines, creative play, or simply needs gentle reassurance and understanding, I tailor my care to suit them personally.

I am able to help after school from 4:00pm onwards or on weekends! More flexibility in school holidays as well!

My Experience

My name is Jessica, I have 3 years experience of working with children who have autism, SEN or complex disabilities.I am passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live independently, safely, and with dignity. I used to work at the Chailey Heritage Foundation and I have hands-on experience working with disabled children and supporting a range of needs, including autism, epilepsy, gastro feeding, and personal care.
Through this work, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, and providing compassionate, person-centred support. I find the role rewarding and meaningful, and I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I support. I now work at a SEN School supporting children with autism and SEN here I support communication and social interaction, helping children manage routines, transitions, and emotions. I also use patience and consistency during challenging moments and adapt
activities to different sensory or other learning needs.
During school holidays I work for Kangaroos supporting those with autism and complex needs go on fun an engaging trips out and about in public.

My Qualifications

I have an up to date DBS, as well as lots of training in SEN and complex care.

My Availability

Available for help after school from 4
I have lots of availability during half terms and school holidays!
Have some availability on weekends!
Happy to work in the Brighton and Hove area as I work in Brighton in a SEN school.
But happy to work in surrounding areas on weekends and half terms!
