My Summary
About Me
Hi, I'm Nicola — a passionate, hands-on childcare professional with a genuine love for helping children grow, learn, and flourish. As a mum of two myself (aged 6 and 10), I know first-hand what parents need: someone they can trust completely, who brings energy, warmth, and real purpose to their child's day.
I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, nurtured, and valued — and that the best care combines compassion with structure. Children thrive when they have both the emotional security to be themselves and the gentle guidance to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. I bring that balance into everything I do.
My approach is rooted in honesty and openness — with children and parents alike. I think it's important that families always feel informed, involved, and able to talk to me freely. Trust is everything, and I work hard to earn and keep it.
Alongside active outdoor time and creative play, I place real value on structured learning — supporting school-readiness, encouraging problem-solving, and helping children make sense of the world around them at their own pace. Every child is different, and I take the time to understand how each one learns best.
I come to you — caring for children in their own home, in their own routine, surrounded by everything familiar. For many families, this makes all the difference.
My Experience

Sensory Circuit Instructor — instrumental in running and setting up a sensory circuit programme at school, helping children with sensory processing needs to regulate, focus, and engage more effectively with their day.
