My Experience

I’ve recently begun my journey as a nanny building on years of experience caring for children of all ages.
I’ve regularly babysat and looked after my younger siblings and family friends children for as long as I can remember, which has given me a natural confidence and genuine love for working with children.

My Qualifications

I completed my education with passes in my Maths and English GCSEs, and went on to study Health & Social Care, Business and Travel & Tourism at college, all of which I successfully passed.

These studies helped build my understanding of people, communication and responsibility.

I started my working career at Waitrose, where I worked for five years.
During that time, I gained a wide range of skills including training as a barista, fishmonger, butcher and working on the delicatessen counter.
I was also promoted to Team Leader for the hospitality team, a role I held for two years, which strengthened my leadership, organisation and customer care skills.

After this I worked in an office role selling emergency services uniforms and equipment for a year. While it was a valuable experience I realised it wasn’t my passion.
I then joined Peoplesafe where I’ve worked for the past three years and truly loved every minute. In this role, I supported people in genuine need by responding to SOS alarms which required calmness, empathy and quick thinking.
I later progressed into an administrative role in contract management, developing strong organisational and attention to detail skills.

Overall I bring a caring nature, reliability and a strong work ethic into everything I do and I’m passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for the families I work with.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday for early mornings and late evenings making me flexible for busy schedules and wraparound care.
I am generally unavailable for late evenings on Fridays however I am open to Friday and Saturday evenings babysitting when needed.

Please note that out of hours care is available at an additional cost.
