My Experience

I have experience working with children in both nursery and school settings. I previously worked in a nursery, where I supported children’s learning and development through play-based activities, daily routines, and creating a safe and caring environment. This role helped me build strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills while supporting children of different ages and abilities.

I worked in a school as a Teaching Assistant on a one-to-one basis, providing individual support to a child with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and daily school activities. In this role, I help encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour while adapting support to meet the child’s specific needs. My experience has allowed me to develop strong relationships with children, staff, and parents, and has strengthened my ability to provide nurturing and supportive care.

My Qualifications

I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare, which have provided me with strong knowledge and practical experience in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. I also completed Level 3 Health and Social Care, where I developed skills in communication, safeguarding, person-centred care, and supporting individuals with different needs.

In addition, I have a Foundation Degree in Nursing and Allied Health Professions, which strengthened my understanding of health, child development, care practices, teamwork, and professional responsibilities. These qualifications have helped me build a caring, patient, and supportive approach when working with children and families.
