My Requirements

Position: Live-out nanny (2 days per week)

Location: Muswell Hill, North London

Days & Hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7.00am-6.00pm

Start Date: November 2026

This role is primarily focused on caring for our 1-year-old during the day. Our 3-year-old attends preschool Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8.00am-4.30pm, and the role includes drop-offs and pick-ups. During the baby’s naps and quieter periods, we would also appreciate help with light housekeeping and preparing simple family meals.

Key Responsibilities

* Sole-charge care of our 1-year-old during the day
* Supporting the morning routine and helping both children get ready
* Preschool drop-off (8.00am) and pick-up (4.30pm) for our 3-year-old (approximately a 10-minute drive; a fully insured family car is available if preferred)
* Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings for our 1-year-old
* Preparing healthy meals for the children (including a simple family dinner)
* Light housekeeping related to the children and shared family areas (e.g. tidying the kitchen and playroom, loading/unloading the dishwasher). No deep cleaning required.
* Additional babysitting may occasionally be requested but is not required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Experienced with babies and young children
* Warm, engaging, and proactive
* Reliable, punctual, and organised
* Happy to combine childcare with light housekeeping and cooking
* Has excellent spoken English and strong communication skills

Requirements

* Previous nanny experience
* Excellent references
* DBS check (or willing to obtain)
* Paediatric first aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
* Confident driver with a full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
* Non-smoker

Salary

* Competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications
