My Summary

My Experience

I volunteered for a local school (Bucklebury primary school) for a morning every week for a whole year which involved working with a range of ages from 3-9 but I mainly was focused with the 4-6 year olds allowing me to gain experience with many different children with wildly different personalities! It involved listening to them read, helping with classwork, leading activities and entertaining them during break-time!

I also was a lower school prefect at my school which involved supporting younger girls aged 11-13. I had many morning and evening duties, I ran activities such as just dance, baking and arts and crafts, I helped them follow their routine involving tidying rooms, getting ready for bed at night and ready for school in the morning - I loved spending time with them and getting to play the “big sister” role to them too!

I also do come from a large family having 5 sisters and many pets so I am constantly surrounded by people and chaos making me very used to busy and energetic environments!

I am very keen to continue working with children on my gap year - I am responsible, friendly, love having fun and happy to help wherever needed!

My Qualifications

I have a cooking qualification (did a 5 day course) in which I am now very confident cooking many different meals!

I have done 2 first aid training sessions at my school in the last few years but am very happy to get an official first aid certificate if needed!

My Availability

I am available from Monday August 3rd 2026 until December 2026! I can work whenever during the weekdays and would preferably like the weekends off (but any extra support needed on weekends I am happy to discuss!)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
