My Experience

am a caring, compassionate, and reliable support worker with experience working with both children and adults in care settings. As a parent to my own teenage children, I have developed strong communication, patience, and nurturing skills that help me build positive relationships and understand the needs of young people.
I have previously worked in nurseries, where I gained valuable experience supporting children's development, learning, and wellbeing, and obtained a childcare qualification. Throughout my career, I have supported children and young people with a range of needs, including emotional, behavioural, and additional support needs, while promoting independence, confidence, and positive outcomes.
I have completed safeguarding training, first aid training, health and safety training, moving and handling, medication awareness, infection prevention and control, food hygiene, behaviour management, and risk assessment training. These qualifications have strengthened my ability to provide safe, person-centred care and respond effectively in challenging situations.
