Hi, I’m Jaya, a friendly, caring and responsible student who will be starting university in September to study Paramedic Science. I enjoy helping others and creating a fun, safe and positive environment for children. I am patient, reliable and organised, and I love spending time with children through activities such as reading, baking, playing games, outdoor activities and helping with homework. I have first aid training through my T Level Health studies and have completed placements in hospital and care home settings, helping me develop strong communication and caring skills.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children of various ages, from newborn babies to school-aged children, through looking after younger siblings and cousins. My responsibilities have included changing nappies, feeding babies and toddlers, preparing simple meals and snacks, helping children get dressed, assisting with morning routines, and supporting children with homework. I am confident supervising children, keeping them engaged in activities, and ensuring they are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
My Qualifications
I have done basic first aid training as part of my course in sixth form as well as things like safeguarding manual handling training
My Availability
I have recently finished sixth form and am available throughout the summer holidays. I am currently available on weekdays, evenings and weekends until I begin university in September. Once I receive my university timetable, I will update my availability accordingly and aim to remain as flexible as possible.
