About Me
Hello, I'm Zoe, an Ofsted registered childminder offering a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment for children aged 0–5 years.
My aim is to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. I follow a child-led, play-based approach, planning activities around each child's interests and developmental stage. I believe children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
We spend lots of time outdoors, making the most of our large garden for play, discovery and fresh air. I also enjoy taking children on outings to local parks, playgroups, libraries, soft play centres, the zoo and other community activities, helping them build confidence, social skills and a love of learning.
I value working closely with parents to ensure every child feels happy, secure and supported. My goal is to provide the same warmth, care and attention that I would want for my own family.
I look forward to welcoming your child into my setting and supporting them through these important early years.
My Experience
Although I am new to childminding, I bring a wealth of experience working with children. Prior to becoming a childminder I have spent eight years as a qualified paediatric nurse, caring for babies, children and their families. This experience has given me a strong understanding of children's development, wellbeing and individual needs. Before training as a nurse I gained my level three diploma in childcare and education and spent several years working in private and community run nurseries.
I am also a mum to two happy little boys!
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and education
BSc Hons Nursing (child)
Full paediatric first aid
My Availability
Zoe's Little Ducklings is open Monday to Friday, drop off at 08:00 and pick up at either 17:00 or 18:00.
I currently have one full time and one part time place available.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My standard day rate is £54 for 8am to 5pm
£60 for 8am to 6pm
I accept funded hours. Any additional hours on top of funded hours are charged at £6 per hour.
My Local Schools

I have had very positive experiences wirh Zoe. She is responsive to my baby's needs and does not stress when things don't go as planned. Excellent communications and her house is clearly tailored to look after children.
