My Experience
I have experience caring for children of various ages through both family childcare and caring responsibilities. This includes supporting my niece, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), which has given me valuable experience in providing patient, attentive and compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
I hold childcare qualifications, an Enhanced DBS certificate and a full driving licence with my own transport. I am currently further developing my skills through additional care training.
I am experienced in supporting children's daily routines, including play and activities, meal preparation, homework support and bedtime routines. I pride myself on being calm, reliable and trustworthy, and I always aim to provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment where children feel happy and secure.
I am available for daytime, evening, weekend and emergency childcare and understand the importance of giving parents confidence and peace of mind when leaving their children in my care.
My Qualifications
I completed childcare training in Scotland equivalent to the NNEB curriculum, successfully completing the required childcare modules and practical training. Although I did not apply for the final NNEB award due to family circumstances at the time, I hold the certificates from the modules completed. This training provided a strong foundation in child development, childcare practice, safety and supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and am currently completing the Care Certificate to further develop my care and safeguarding knowledge.
My Availability
I offer flexible childcare and am available for daytime, evening, weekend and emergency bookings. I will always try to accommodate last-minute requests where possible and am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare requirements. My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My standard childcare rate starts from £14 per hour. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, hours required, location and any additional responsibilities.
£16–£18 per hour evenings, weekends or emergency bookings
