Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
I would love to become a nanny, I have worked in early years (nurseries) for 2 years now and would love to start something different! I am a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated childcare professional with extensive experience working in early years settings. My background is primarily in an Outstanding nursery, where I worked closely with children aged 0–2 years, while also gaining experience supporting older children. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments where children can learn, grow, and develop confidence.
As a nanny, I understand how important consistency is for children. I am confident in following family routines, preferences, and parenting approaches to ensure children feel secure, comfortable, and settled in their home environment. Whether it is nap times, meal times, school runs, or daily activities, I am committed to maintaining routines that work best for the family.
I take great pride in providing a clean, organised, and safe environment where children can play, learn, and thrive. I am naturally flexible, outgoing, and positive, and I enjoy trying new activities, visiting new places, and finding creative ways to keep children engaged and happy. Building strong relationships with both children and parents is very important to me, and I strive to be someone families can trust and rely on completely.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working in a nursery setting and am passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Throughout my career, I have completed a wide range of training, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, speech and language development, sensory learning, manual handling, and health and safety. This training has enabled me to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
I have a strong understanding of cultural capital and the importance of providing children with enriching experiences that they may not have access to outside of the nursery environment. As the nursery’s event planner, I organised a variety of cultural celebrations and events that promoted inclusion, diversity, and respect for different backgrounds, ensuring all children and families felt valued and represented.
I have experience supporting children with SEND and children who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL). I enjoy learning about different cultures and languages and am always willing to develop my knowledge further to meet the needs of the children and families I support. I believe in building positive relationships with children and parents to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life.
I previously worked in an Outstanding nursery and was proud to contribute towards maintaining the high standards that led to this achievement. While most of my experience has been in a baby room supporting children aged 0–2 years, I have also worked with older children and understand the different developmental stages and needs across the early years.
One of my key strengths is planning and setting up fun, engaging, and stimulating activities that support children’s learning and development through play. I have extensive experience creating age-appropriate activities that encourage communication, creativity, sensory exploration, physical development, and independence. I would bring this experience into a nanny role by providing exciting learning opportunities within the home and local community, ensuring children are continually engaged, challenged, and supported in reaching their developmental milestones.
I am a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic childcare professional who is committed to promoting children’s development, wellbeing, and individual potential through high-quality care and education.
