About Me

Hi, my name is Kamila and I am newly registered childminder based in Thurston. I live with my husband and our two sons, and we also have a friendly 4 year old Golden Labrador.

My Experience

I have over 20 years of childcare experience, most of which has been gained working in nursery settings, caring for children from 3 months to 11 years of age. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, and I am trained in Pediatric First Aid and as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. During my nursery career, I was SENCO for 9 years, gaining valuable experience and a strong understanding of supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can learn, develop and thrive at their own pace.
