My Experience
I have been working with children since 2019, starting with babysitting for family friends during weekends and evenings. I also worked at a pottery centre, where I supported children in developing their creativity and confidence through hands-on activities. While at university, I worked part-time as a nanny for a family with two young children aged 2 and 4. Most recently, from 2024, I worked in a nursery caring for children up to 5 years old, gaining valuable experience in early years development. I took a short break to travel abroad and have now returned, ready to continue working with children.
My Qualifications
I do not hold a formal childcare qualification; however, I have a DBS and I a BSc in Anthropology, which has given me a strong understanding of human development, behaviour, and cultural differences. This background helps me approach childcare with empathy, patience, and an awareness of each child’s individual needs and environment.
