My Experience

I have developed a strong foundation in working with children through my experience across a variety of educational settings, including nurseries, primary schools, and secondary schools. These experiences have allowed me to understand the different developmental stages of children and adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. In nursery settings, I supported young children with play-based learning, basic routines, and early social development. In primary schools, I assisted with classroom activities, helped pupils with their work, and contributed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Within secondary schools, I gained experience supporting older students, understanding behaviour management strategies, and encouraging independence and confidence.

Additionally, I have some experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where I have learned the importance of patience, clear communication, and providing tailored support. This has helped me become more adaptable and aware of how to meet a range of learning and emotional needs.

Alongside my practical experience, I am currently a university student studying Psychology and Counselling. My studies have deepened my understanding of child development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. This academic knowledge supports my practical skills, allowing me to approach situations with empathy, professionalism, and awareness.

Overall, my combination of hands-on experience and academic study enables me to provide a high standard of care and support for children of different ages and needs, while creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.

My Qualifications

I have achieved strong academic results throughout my education, gaining grades 4–9 across my GCSEs. During this time, I studied Child Development, where I achieved a Merit, and Health and Social Care, where I was awarded a Distinction, showing my interest and capability in caring professions. I then progressed to college and completed Health and Social Care Level 3, achieving a DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit), which reflects my consistent effort and understanding of the subject. I am currently studying at university and working towards a first-class degree, demonstrating my continued dedication, ambition, and commitment to achieving academic success.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

As a babysitter, my fees are based on the level of responsibility, time commitment, and care I provide. I aim to offer a fair and reasonable rate that reflects my reliability, patience, and ability to ensure children are safe, entertained, and well looked after. My standard rate is between £10 and £15 per hour, depending on the number of children, their ages, and the time of day. Evening or late-night babysitting may be charged at a slightly higher rate due to increased responsibility and availability. I am also open to discussing fixed rates for longer sessions or regular bookings, which can make it more affordable for families while still valuing my time and effort. My role includes supervising children, preparing simple meals, helping with homework if needed, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I take my responsibilities seriously and always aim to build trust with both parents and children. Overall, my babysitting fees are set to be fair, competitive, and reflective of the quality care and support I provide.
