About Me
Hello! My name is Darci and I am a caring, reliable and enthusiastic nanny with a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification. I am also paediatric first aid trained and have lots of experience working with children of different ages from 0-12.
I am passionate about creating a safe, enabling environment which is also fun where little ones can grow, learn and feel valued! I particularly enjoy spending time outdoors, as well as creating engaging activities for children to explore and gain confidence in.
I am really keen to gain a secure and comfortable relationship with my nanny family - this is very important to me! I want to fit in well with a families routine and hopefully become a really nice addition. I provide high quality care to really support children’s childhoods.
My Experience
I have babysit lots for several different families around my village over the past few years since I was around 14/15. As well as this I’ve also completed 2 placements when I was studying my level 3 Early Years course in college. One was in a nursery setting working with children ages 0-4 and the other in a school setting in a reception class with children ages 4-5. These were both amazing experiences as I got to understand how children develop and what challenges come at different ages. I currently part time nanny/care for a family twice a week and have previously had a nanny job doing after school/evening hours a couple of days a week. Since September I have also worked in a nursery 25 hours a week with childcare aged 0-4 which I thoroughly enjoy.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Early Years childcare qualification which I completed at Varndean College last year.
I also am paediatric first aid trained. The most recent course I took was a couple of
months ago at my current nursery so everything is very fresh in my head.
I have a DBS check which is still running and up to date to share with you.
I also have completed many different training courses throughout my placements and current job at a nursery. These are courses such as Food hygiene, Child Protection, Safeguarding, and many more!
My Availability
Weekdays Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Ideally from around 8am until late afternoon or early evening whatever suits the family. I also don’t mind doing night shifts now and again if needs be.
My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
