About Me
I am very passionate about keeping children entertained without relying heavily on technological devices. I find a lot of fulfilment in helping them understand and explore their interests, while encouraging them to spend time outdoors and play with other children, all depending on the individual child’s personality and needs.
I am organised, dependable, and flexible, with a calm and patient approach to childcare. Understanding how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when leaving their children in someone else’s care, I always aim to build positive relationships with both children and their families through honesty, consistency and open communication. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel happy and supported being themselves, while encouraging them to grow and develop in their own way.
My Experience
I help in my church nursery at least twice a month and also support whenever needed during our bi-weekly services. I supervise children between the ages of 0–3 and have also supported children aged 3–11.
I have had various nannying experiences, starting with caring for my nephew from infancy. I regularly looked after him from being a baby through to his current age of nine, developing experience in school drop-offs and pick-ups, supervised play, homework and extra learning, organising day trips and activities, and managing bedtime routines. Through this, I have also become familiar with supporting children with special needs, as my nephew is autistic.
I also help out my neighbours by caring for their children when they are at work or need additional support. I have looked after one of their children since she was a baby and continue to care for her now at the age of three.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs and 3 A- Level Qualifications
Currently studying towards a degree in Business Computing.
My Availability
I am highly flexible.
I am open to morning school run if needed.
I also have alternating availability on Saturdays.
