I’m a reliable, caring and energetic 20?year?old based in Cardiff. I have my own car and a full clean driving licence, so I can travel easily, do school runs or take children out locally safely. I’m First Aid and Safeguarding trained from my time working in nurseries. I’m mature for my age, very trustworthy, and I treat every child like my own. I love making days fun, safe and full of activities — whether that’s crafts, trips to the park, helping with meals, homework or bedtime routines. I have lots of experience caring for my own siblings and babysitting for family & friends for years, plus professional nursery experience. I’m looking for a lovely family to work with long?term.
My Experience
I have 7 months’ professional experience working in two different nurseries, caring for babies right up to school?age children. I’ve learned how to follow routines, keep children safe, support their development, manage behaviour, and plan fun activities. I’ve helped with meals, nappies, sleep times and outdoor play, and I have excellent references from both nursery managers. Outside of work, I have years of experience babysitting for family, friends and neighbours, and I helped raise my younger siblings — so I’m very confident looking after children of all ages in a home setting. I’m calm, patient and always put children’s safety and happiness first.
My Qualifications
I have completed Safeguarding Children training and First Aid training during my time working in nurseries, so I’m fully up?to?date with safety, health and child protection procedures. I also hold a full clean UK driving licence and have my own car, which is insured and reliable, so I can travel anywhere in Cardiff or do school runs easily. I have excellent references from both my current and previous nursery managers, as well as from families I’ve babysat for and from people who know me personally. I’m hard?working, mature, and always professional.
My Availability
Available MONDAY – FRIDAY, 7:30am – 6:00pm (full?time hours, perfect for working parents). I can do before?school, after?school, school runs, or full days — whatever you need. Flexible for occasional evenings or weekends if agreed in advance. Based in Cardiff and happy to travel to Canton, Pontcanna, Roath, Llandaff, Penylan and all surrounding areas.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
For full?time nanny work (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6pm) I charge £13.50 per hour gross. For part?time, before/after school or occasional evenings/weekends, I charge £12.00 per hour. My rates are fair, reflect my experience, training and reliability, and include travel within Cardiff. I’m happy to discuss rates for longer?term arrangements or specific family needs.
