I am 19 years old, currently studying Early Childhood Studies at Staffordshire University, looking for babysitting jobs for the summer, half terms and holidays. My Experience
Volunteer Nursery Practitioner
I have experience supporting children, young people, and families across a range of voluntary and work settings. I assisted in caring for children aged 0–2, supporting daily routines and leading engaging activities in a safe and nurturing environment.
Volunteer – Lighthouse Centre (Domestic Abuse Support Centre), Involve Northwest
I supported a children’s domestic abuse recovery programme, contributing to group sessions, one-to-one support, and safeguarding alongside a Domestic Abuse Practitioner. I also gained experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse.
Volunteer Youth Worker
Through Woodcraft Folk, I developed leadership skills by organising activities and events for young people, alongside participating in national and international camps.
Family Foster Carer
My family has fostered children for over a decade and as of recently I am able to support my parents with taking care of the children and having more responsibilities in order to look after them. In addition, my work within a foster care programme involved creating a Local Authority-approved resource to support biological children of foster carers.

Standard: £10 an hour
Extra children: £3 an hour per child
