Looking for warm, reliable, and high-quality childcare in a home-from-home setting? Well look no further, as an exciting, newly registered childminding service is coming this July 2026. As an experienced primary school teacher of 14 years and fellow mum, I provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Based in the heart of Taffs Well, on the edge of the beautiful Forest Fawr woodland, children will benefit from a peaceful setting with wonderful opportunities for outdoor exploration and nature-based learning.
With a strong focus on early development, creativity, and individual attention, I combine professional teaching expertise with the care and understanding only a parent can offer. Your child will enjoy engaging activities, structured learning through play, and plenty of fresh air—all in a comfortable, welcoming home environment.
Spaces are limited to ensure each child receives the highest level of care and support.

My Experience
I have worked with children for almost 20 years, 14 of which have been spent teaching students from ages 3-11. I have also worked in daycare nurseries with babies as young as 9 months. As a mum of a young toddler, I have experienced putting my own daughter in childcare, and I therefore value the importance of reliable and communicative provision that you can trust.
My Qualifications
My qualifications involve a degree in Early Childhood Studies, followed by a PGCE in Primary Education.I have a Level 2 qualification in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development, awarded by City and Guilds, as well as certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level C and Food Safety Level 2.
My Availability
I provide a two day minimum day care policy, full days only for babies and toddlers. I believe that this provides consistency and routine for the children in my care. I currently do not offer half day sessions, but can offer wrap around care to children attending Ffynnon Taf Primary School. School holiday childcare can be arranged on a more flexible basis should spaces be available.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I charge a flat rate fee of £70 per day. This includes 3 meals a day, all snacks and toddler groups/daily outings.
