About Me
I’m a working mum looking for a reliable, patient and emotionally aware childcare provider to support with the morning school run for my two younger children. Both children have additional needs and, on some mornings, can become dysregulated, so I’m looking for someone who has genuine patience, resilience and understanding rather than simply viewing the role as transport from A to B. It’s important to me that the person supporting them can remain calm, reassuring and consistent, communicate with them appropriately, and help them arrive at school feeling as settled and regulated as possible. I really value kindness, dependability, clear communication and someone who understands that a successful school run is not just getting them through the school gates, but supporting them positively through the transition from home to school.
My Requirements
Morning School-Run Childcare Needed – SW2 to Shirley – Monday to Thursday
I’m looking for a reliable and experienced childcare provider to collect my two school-age children from our home in SW2 and drive them to their school in Shirley, Croydon, Monday to Thursday during term time.
The journey from our home to the school is approximately 35–40 minutes by car, depending on traffic, so please only get in touch if this is a journey you are genuinely able and willing to undertake regularly.
This is a morning school-run arrangement only, rather than full childcare. I need someone who can collect the children from home in good time and ensure they arrive safely and punctually for the start of the school day.
You will need your own reliable vehicle, a full driving licence and appropriate insurance for transporting children. Reliability and punctuality are particularly important.
Ofsted registered preferred.
Rate: £15–£20 per morning for both children combined.
Please get in touch if you are available Monday to Thursday during term time, are comfortable with the SW2 to Shirley journey, and feel the arrangement would suit you. Please include a little about your childcare/driving experience and current availability.
