About Me
I am 26 years old and originally from New York, though I have lived in Manchester for almost 5 years now. I moved to Manchester to get my MFA in Contemporary Performance. Before this, I worked full time in NY as a homeschool teacher, tutor, and occasional household helper (cooking and cleaning). I have a BA in English and Theatre and also completed minor degrees in Developmental Psychology and Digital Media Studies. I used to work as a secondary school teacher here in Manchester, so I have an Enhanced DBS check and have also completed Safeguarding training. I am passionate about theatre and the arts and love to cook, bake, read, play my many instruments, and spend time with my two cats.
My Experience
I have decades of experience with pet care and with cooking, and I would be delighted to help you and your family to take care of these tasks! I am an excellent cook and baker, and even worked professionally as a baker, briefly, working under a head chef trained by Wolfgang Puck, one of the most famous chefs in the world. I can cook an extensive variety of international cuisines, cater to any of your dietary needs and/or allergies, and of course clean up afterwards. I have a deep passion for creating delicious, nutritious food and sharing it with others. I have experience cooking for children, as well, and can certainly create meals that cater to both the adults and the kids.
In terms of pet care, I have experience caring for many types of pets-- cats, dogs, and rodents (hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas). I am able to come to your home to provide care for your pet, and also am able to take care of your small caged pets in my own home while you are away, if needed.
