Part-Time Nanny Needed for Baby Girl from December 2026
About Me
My husband and I are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to support our growing family. We have a daughter, born in January 2026, and are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our family life as she grows.
We also have three wonderful boys aged 13, 11 and 7 who are with us part-time. While the role will be primarily focused on caring for our daughter, we would love someone who is comfortable being part of a busy and welcoming family environment when the boys are at home.
We value kindness, patience, curiosity and a positive approach to childcare. We are particularly interested in a Montessori-inspired philosophy, encouraging independence, learning through play, outdoor exploration and age-appropriate activities that support development and confidence.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, is proactive, organised and nurturing, and can provide a safe, engaging and stimulating environment. We would love our nanny to take an active role in planning activities, supporting developmental milestones and helping our daughter explore the world around her.
We believe in building a respectful, supportive and long-term relationship with our nanny and hope to find someone who is looking to become a valued and consistent part of our family for years to come.
My Requirements
I will be returning to work in mid-December and am looking for a nanny to care for my daughter for approximately three days per week. The exact days and hours can be discussed with the right candidate, and we would appreciate some flexibility as my work schedule may occasionally vary. Whilst the role is initially part-time, there may be the opportunity for it to evolve into a full-time position further down the line, although this is still to be confirmed.
The role will be primarily focused on our daughter and her day-to-day care. We are looking for someone who can provide a warm, nurturing and engaging environment, plan age-appropriate activities, encourage learning through play, spend time outdoors, support routines, and help her reach developmental milestones with confidence and curiosity.
Whilst the position will mainly be during daytime hours, there may occasionally be opportunities for additional evening or weekend hours. These would be infrequent and arranged well in advance wherever possible.
We would love to find someone with experience caring for babies and young children who is warm, dependable and genuinely passionate about childcare. An interest in Montessori principles, child-led learning, outdoor play and supporting independence would be highly valued, but prior experience not essential.
As our daughter will be around 11 months old when the role begins, we are hoping to find someone who enjoys supporting this exciting stage of development and can provide plenty of opportunities for exploration, learning and fun.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can provide a safe, loving and consistent environment for our daughter and who would like to build a long-term relationship with our family. We see our nanny as an important part of our daughter's life and hope to find someone who feels like a valued extension of our family.
