About Me

I am an experienced childcare professional with over 18 months of hands-on experience working in a nursery setting across a range of age groups.

My current role is within the baby room (9 months–2 years), where I am highly experienced in supporting daily routines, bottle feeding, weaning, nappy changing, and providing a nurturing environment that promotes children’s development and wellbeing. I have also worked in the toddler room (2–3 years) and preschool room (3–4 years), giving me a strong understanding of the different developmental stages and the importance of keeping children engaged through stimulating and age-appropriate activities.

I am confident in planning and setting up activities tailored to children’s individual interests and developmental goals, whether that involves supporting fine motor skills, encouraging language development, promoting independence, or providing creative and sensory experiences such as arts and crafts.

Alongside my childcare experience, I am a confident and capable cook with a wide range of culinary skills. I can prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary requirements, allergies, and individual preferences.

I am particularly skilled at establishing sleep routines and helping children settle for naps. Having worked extensively with babies and young children, I can quickly adapt to existing family routines and provide consistent, reliable care.

In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with household tasks to help support busy families. This includes vacuuming, mopping, laundry, tidying, and general household cleaning.

I am based in Nottingham and hold a full UK driving licence. I can provide both forward-facing and rear-facing car seats if required, making school runs, outings, and appointments convenient and safe. I am Paediatric First Aid trained and hold an up-to-date DBS check.

My preferred working hours are between 7:00am and 7:00pm; however, I am flexible and can work later when needed. I am also willing to travel for the right family.

I am currently seeking a full-time nanny position and would love the opportunity to support a family by providing attentive, professional, and nurturing care for their children, while also offering an extra helping hand around the home when needed. References are available upon request.
