About Me

I have extensive childcare experience caring for children from as young as one month old through to 14 years old, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This experience has given me the confidence to adapt my approach to suit different ages, abilities, and individual needs. I am comfortable caring for newborns, supporting feeding, changing, and sleep routines, as well as engaging older children and teenagers through age-appropriate activities and conversations.

I believe children thrive when they have opportunities to explore and learn outdoors, and I enjoy encouraging curiosity, confidence, and creativity through nature walks, outdoor play, and hands-on activities. I am patient, responsible, and committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported, valued, and able to develop their independence and self-esteem.

I pride myself on being the fun babysitter who children enjoy spending time with, whether that’s through games, crafts, adventures outdoors, or simply spending quality time together. At the same time, I understand the importance of routines, boundaries, and consistency. Parents can feel reassured that while their children are having fun, I will ensure mealtimes, bedtimes, and any specific instructions are followed so that children remain happy, settled, and content.

When children are in my care, I treat them with the same level of kindness, attention, and dedication that I would give to members of my own family. Their safety, wellbeing, and happiness are always my top priorities. I aim to build trusting relationships with both children and parents, creating an environment where children feel secure and cared for, and parents can feel confident that their children are in safe and capable hands.
