About Me
My name is Tom and I’m 35 years old. I am the activity manager at YHA’s Boggle hole, and a professional guitarist. My day to day job is hosting school groups and entertaining the children for 3 day residential trips. On the side I am the guitarist for a band called Skandals, with gigs mostly on weekends, although this varies depending on the time of year. I’m a very active person, I play tennis, squash, running and I love being nature and swimming in waterfalls. I’m very down to earth and am a huge believer in positive reinforcement. Me and my partner Sophie have lived in Whitby since 2021 and have absolutely fallen in love with it often spending our free time in the sea or in the beautiful moors.
My Experience
Over the last 7 years I’ve gained a huge deal of experience working with children. Starting in London doing kids birthday parties with sharky and George. After the pandemic we moved to Whitby where I became an activity coordinator for the YHA Whitby, and spent 5 years delivering activities to school children until I became the activity manager at boggle hole. It’s the same job with a few added responsibilities. I have a few gaps in my rota and some time to fill out of the activity season. Which is what brings me here :) I don’t just offer my time, but also make sure to teach play and generally create great experiences for children every single time. I am also a guitar teacher, so if you want your child to learn a valuable skill such as playing the guitar, I can provide that service.

My Availability
My availability heavily depends on the school groups that come in. So changes from week to week and would be a case by case basis.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
Baby sitting 20 pound per hour.
Guitar teacher; 30 pounds per hour.
Night rate TBD
I ensure to be present and interactive. And I will never be passive or be on my phone when I am working.
