My Experience

I am a young mother to a toddler who will be in childcare during my work hours.

Since my move to Bournemouth (2022), I have been working as a Specialist SEN tutor.

From March 2021 I have been working as a teaching assistant helping special needs students at the schools:
- Unsworth Academy
- Elton High School

From May 2021 I have been teaching online sessions as a tutor for GCSE English Language to year 8 and year 10 students twice a week each at the schools stated below
- Our Lady And St Bede RC School
- The Ursuline Academy Ilford

Over 1 year experience of babysitting and tutoring 2 year old twins and a 3 year old
- Read lots of books to them
- Play games in the garden e.g. ball games, bike rides
- Did activities with them e.g. puzzles, colouring, painting, block building, Lego etc.
- Fed them meals and snacks
- Taught them how to talk whilst increasing their vocabulary
- Dealt with tantrums and multitasking

A few ad hoc childcare sessions with a 1 year old
- Read books
- Painting
- Colouring
- Children kitchen play
- Dealt with separation anxiety

I was a nanny to a newborn up until he was the age of 5 months
- 3 full days a week
- Burped him
- Put him to sleep
- Entertained him
- Nappy changes

For a few months I provided childcare and tuition to a 2 year old girl
- Morning sessions 4 days a week
- Read books
- Drawing and writing
- Feed her meals and snacks
- Find ways to entertain her e.g. braid her hair, dress up
- Go for walks
- Play with all her toys e.g. puzzles, building blocks etc.

Nanny sessions with a special needs 3 year old
- Take him to the park
- Go for walks
- Cook and prepare meals
- Play with his toys e.g. cars, play-dough, blocks, Lego, painting, stickers etc.

A few ad hoc sessions with a 4 month old newborn
- Supervision
- Burped him
- Put him to sleep
- Entertained him

I have provided overnight shifts as a nanny to 3 children; 2 girls and a boy ages 13, 11 and 9 with SEN
- Weekend care
- Supervision

I have worked as a housekeeper and nanny to a baby boy since he was 2 months old from April 2021 to July 2021
- 2 days a week
- Washing and sterilising baby bottles
- Burping baby
- Putting him to sleep
- Helping around the house e.g. polishing wood, wiping down furniture, washing up etc.

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Childminding from £15.00 per hour

Tuition Rate - £30 per hour
