My Requirements

I’m looking for a reliable and engaging weekend support for my 5-year-old son, Llew.

Ideally, I would love to find someone who could come to our home every other Saturday morning (I share custody 50/50, so this would only be on the weekends he’s with me).

The role would be approximately 8:00am–12:00pm and would involve a mixture of childcare, educational activities, and play. In particular, I’d like at least an hour of age-appropriate learning through reading, numbers, worksheets, games, or other fun educational activities.

If you happen to speak Welsh, that would be a bonus (but certainly not essential). I’d also be interested in someone who could introduce basic music or piano lessons, as Llew already enjoys learning the electric guitar and loves music.

The main goal is to keep him happily occupied in a fun, educational, and nurturing way while I catch up on household tasks, have a coffee, and enjoy a little downtime.

I’m also keen to start building a good relationship and sense of trust with the right sitter, with the hope of creating a consistent arrangement for Llew. If things are working well, there may also be opportunities for the role to grow over time. Weekday child and home/life assistance, evening babysitting, etc. There is also scope for helping out with dishes/laundry/grocery runs etc, if you’re interested at all- but not required.
