ADHD Mentor / Family Support for Bright, Sporty Teenager
About Me
We are a friendly, busy and active family living in the New Forest area with three teenage children. Both parents work in professional roles and family life revolves around school, sport and spending time outdoors.
Our children are bright, engaging and independent young people with a wide range of interests including swimming, athletics, mountain biking, rugby and football. We value kindness, honesty, resilience and a sense of humour, and we are looking for someone who can become a positive and trusted presence within our family.
We are seeking support primarily for our 15-year-old son, who has ADHD. He is intelligent, energetic, funny and highly capable, but benefits from additional support with organisation, planning, motivation and emotional regulation. He responds best to adults who are calm, consistent, encouraging and able to build strong relationships based on mutual respect.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with teenagers, appreciates their strengths as well as their challenges, and can help create a positive, supportive environment in which they can thrive.
