About Me
Comfort's Nest Childcare, located at Ifield West, provides a cosy home-from-home experience with lots of exciting, age-appropriate activities that stimulate the child's curiosity and creativity and encourage independence. Our setting is within walking distance of bus and train stops and has several parks and nature walks. We have two large separate playrooms for children to explore and engage in messy play, and a secure garden with a vegetable patch for outdoor activities. Our daily routines include activities (e.g. building blocks, reading, singing, role-plays) that cover the 7 areas of learning according to the EYFS framework, as well as outdoor play in the garden, a communal playground (just behind the garden), and trips to local playgroups, garden centres, the local library, and museum. We provide one healthy snack a day as part of our "Good nutrition, curious minds" campaign. For your peace of mind, we are fully insured, DBS-checked, and are committed to providing high-quality care in a secure, warm and nurturing environment.
My Experience
I have over 14 years of experience working with children. I am currently a mother of two boys aged 4 years old and 2 years old.
My Qualifications
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent
Bachelor or Arts Degree in Psychology
My Availability
I work on Tuesdays - Fridays, 8:00 - 17:00. I am available for ad hoc or pre-arranged weekend care. I am also available for pre-arranged holiday care this summer (July-August 2026).
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My fees include one healthy snack per day. Optional charges apply to consumables, activities and trips to certain places.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Waterfield Primary School

Where would I start, my husband and I knew from the minute we stepped in Alberta’s house that she’s the one we’re looking for to look after our grandson.
Very tidy and clean house, dedicated place for kids to play, safe, clean and comfortable.
She’s very nice yet very professional.
I would highly recommend Alberta to anyone looking for 5stars service.
Will definitely go back to Alberta in the very near future.
