GrahamA
Abi and Graham looking for help with Monty (3) and Beatrix (3 weeks).
About Me
Family of four - Graham and Abi (mum and dad), Monty (3), and Beatrix (3 weeks old); plus two whippets, Coco (11) and Luna (9). We are just about to move to Chyngton Road on or around 15th June, having lived in Molesey, Surrey, for the past 10 years.
I, dad, have Stage IV cancer, which is incurable, so I have to travel up to London at least every two weeks for scans / chemotherapy / radiotherapy at the moment. I have a lot of fatigue and other side effects that make it hard for me to help the family as a father usually would.
*Please note, my care is not part of your role as a nanny at any time - this is about the children!*
My Requirements
With Beatrix having joined the family, we need some help over the summer whilst Monty is not in nursery. He won't be able to join anywhere until September. This could be helping with Beatrix and her baby needs, or playing with Monty / taking him out locally for activities to give mum and dad some time to rest!
We are looking for part-time, perhaps Monday-Thursday mornings to start, but we can negotiate this once making contact. I've ticked afternoons as well as I'd like to hear from as many nannies as possible, if they think they could help.
It would also be great if the nanny could help around the house with basic things like washing up and tidying, which may need to be done anyway if baby bottles need cleaning etc.; we would not expect anything too strenuous or major in terms of household chores of course - we see that as a bit of a bonus if you can help with this.
Regarding our dogs, it can be difficult for us to walk them in the morning if I am unwell and Abi has the baby and Monty to mind, so a nanny who is flexible enough to take the dogs out for 20 minutes would be really welcome, but isn't a requirement. Our whippets are very gentle and just like to sleep all day once they've had their breakfast, a walk, and a treat! Luna can be a bit barky if a stranger knocks at the door, but she's just excited and calms down once the person has left or entered the house.
We look forward to hearing from you if you would like to ge in touch or if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Graham
