About Me
Hello! My name is Sarah, and welcome to Little Explorers Childcare.
I love creating a warm, nurturing home-from-home where children feel happy, confident and excited to learn, play and explore. I have two young children and have thoroughly loved spending the last few years with them full-time. As they begin their own school journeys, I have decided to continue doing what I love and combin it with my own childcare qulifications and experience to create Little Explorers.
Little Explorers offers lots of dedicated play, craft and outdoor spaces within the setting, giving children plenty of opportunities to be creative, active and curious. We love getting out and about too, enjoying adventures and discovering the world around us.
My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience working with children, from babies through to 11 years old. My experience includes working in a nursery baby room as well as teaching in primary schools. The childcare opportunities I have worked with has giving me a strong understanding of children’s development, learning and individual needs.
My Qualifications
I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Primary Education and a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. I have also completed Paediatric First Aid Training and Safeguarding Training. Throughout my teaching career, I have also had the opportunity to lead teams, supporting colleagues to develop their understanding of how best to support children’s learning and development across key curriculum areas. I have also had experience supporting children with SEN.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
Little Explorers accepts Government Funded Hours for eligable families and Tax Free Childcare. Any hours provided ontop of this are charged at the private rate of £8.50. A daily consumables fee and encrichement contrubution is payable for each booked day.
